I have emailed Cosmas to come and update us on his service. He said he would come very soon!
We know Cosmas since he was here before and I think some of our members have used his service...they have docs in several states....check out their site.

Greetings to all! It has been a while, lots of changes have occured, but I am happy to be able to announce that Avantmeds is now ready to continue providing the best in service to all!
We have doctors in several States ready to perform the required yearly in office exam and provide the follow up phone and/or video consultations. We are working with a few physician provider services so that we can continue to recruit doctors in all of the States, to make it as convenient as possible for everyone no matter where you live.
Currently I have Drs in FL, NY, TX, SC, IL, AZ, MD, PA & several CA cities. Expect to get coverage in NJ, GA, OH, NC in coming weeks.
If you have any questions or problems please do not hesitate to call or email me at customer service.
I look forward to continuing to provide you with the best in service.

Was a patient with Avant for two years. Ripped last year and just ripped again this year. Face to Face goes fine, after that count on NO REFILLS, NO COMMUNICATION, NO NOTHING.
They will schedule the follow up consult however, the Dr will never call. Cos will say its not his fault and when you call the Dr's office the nurse will tell you the Dr is reviewing the files for "all you people" !!
Don't give away your money here. I fell for this same scam last year and gave Cos the benefit of a doubt.
Same stuff all over again.

Thanks for the feedback, Ripped...I am surprised...Cos always seemed on the up and up. I did not hear anything from the other boards I visit at ALL...I did invite Cos to come and share his business here but he never came...He DID email me to get the addy but never showed...I wanted to see if there was a discount. People will not post what they do who who they use in fear of being watched I guess...My one board I go to the people only complain when something does not work out...not speaking of you of course...I am glad you joined up and share...Thank you and please, stick around a post! We would love to have someone new to chat with!
I am sorry that AVANT screwed you over...

Dawn....Make sure the word is out because, contrary to the agreement with his service, credit cards will be charged for consults scheduled but never were or intended to be done. You can call and get an excuse but don't be fooled. Do the chargeback !
Also I am having a problem getting consult records from the original F2F . So my pharmacy record shows the medications but no medical notes to try and find another service. The Dr was (is) a #@%$#U&!
So maybe a letter to to the medical board or the local newspaper with a tip on why so many cars from out of state were in the parking lot at the Doc's office couple months ago. One good turn deserves another.
Stay safe and stay away from this service.
ps ...My info was sold and Cos blames the Dr. Who knows ?

Just wanted to make a comment regarding the accusations posted about Avantmeds. First, I do apologize for the delay in posting, I lost my daughter and mother in the past 3 months and have been a bit off the mark. In regards to Avantmeds ripping people off for their money, that is totally bogus. In the 3 years I have been in business I have had exactly 1 charge back which was a result of a client who was not happy with the results of the doctors service. Anyone who gets charged and does not receive an exam or phone consult has their money refunded to their credit card. The new F2F model has been a challenge in respect to the lack of dedication from some doctors who say they are on board but do not adhere to the contracts. I can not dictate to any doctor how he conducts his business and if he chooses to stop servicing the patients I can only remove him from my service. I understand the frustration of the people that this affected when it occured, what I do not understand is bashing or blaming me as if I personally caused it. I have always been honest and fair and go above and beyond to make sure my clients are satisfied and Avantmeds will always provide nothing less than the best in customer care.

As I said on the other board Cos...I am SO sorry for your loss and I know just how badly it feels to lose those you love. It stymies you into a place you never knew existed. To lose 2 people so dear is beyond tragic....my heart goes out to you.
I know a member or 2 who have used your service and have had success...Sometimes things go wrong as you said...you are not responsible for what comes from the doctors. They do what they deem best. I went to one service once and I had a PA who lectured me for 1/2 an hour and did not give me what I needed and when I got my medication it was wrong anyway.
I am glad you came to defend yourself and I hope things are better for you Cos...I know it takes many years to "get used to" people we lose not being around...it has been 8 years and I miss my husband still...there is that emptiness that noone can fill...God has been good to me tho and given me 2 beautiful grandchildren and it had given me more focus and purpose and a reason to work on getting better even more....
My job here is to post OCSs that are open for business. I wish the happy people would post here and elsewhere...They are afraid and I cannot say I blame them. BUT Face to face is legal and there should be nothing to fear...if the gov does not like this new wave, they will find a way to make it illegal...
People, I KNOW you come here and get your info yet only 4 of us post here on a regular basis...it would be sort of paying your dues, so to speak, since this place IS free, and I do spend time researching what I can...to stop and let us know your experiences with the services you have tried or work with....people need help and this is why I keep this board open....to help people...this part is password protected to keep you safe. Make up a new goofy name but PLEASE post your OCS and let us know how it goes...

Thank you.. and you are so right... you never stop thinking about the ones you lose... but I try to remember the good things, happy times and it kinda helps.
Now, I do have some really exciting news.. Avantmeds is now working with a Physicians referral service that has doctors in over 40 states and totally in tune with the new format for face to face and on going treatment of CP patients. I believe that now we will, the OCS's thet are trying to continue to offer quality service to our patients, be able to take back control of the industry and get things back on track. I am confident that this new network of physicians will provide reliable service and will be updating the states as they come available in the coming weeks.
